MV Kenilworth - commemorative bookletUntil March 2007, the Gourock-Kilcreggan-Helensburgh ferry service was operated by the MV Kenilworth.
Built in 1936, she originally served as the Southampton-Hyde ferry. Between 1979 and 2007 she provided an essential Clyde estuary crossing for 2.1 million passengers.
On Saturday 24 March 2007, the MV Kenilworth operated her last scheduled Saturday on the Kilcreggan route. To mark the occasion, the passengers sailing on the Kenilworth received a free commemorative booklet detailing the history of the route and in particular, that of the MV Kenilworth.
