Vessels used on the Renfrew Ferry route are made available for purchase.
Renfrew Ferry vessels for sale or lease
March 5, 2010 14:37 UKNewsBoth vessels used on the Renfrew-Yoker Ferry route are being offered for sale or lease by SPT.
Proposals are also invited from parties interested in purchasing or leasing the pontoons and ancillary facilities on site, as part of the decommissioning of the service.
SPT's ferry slipways are also available - but only for lease or license as part of a new ferry service on the Clyde.
In assessing proposals, SPT will give preference to those that achieve the best quality public transport ferry operation, in the first instance, between Renfrew and Yoker.

All proposals must be delivered to the reception area of SPT at Consort House, 12 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1HN before 12 noon on 15 March 2010, sealed in a plain envelope clearly marked "FAO Director of Policy and Strategy, Proposals - Renfrew Ferry".
